INAUGURAÇÃO ROMAN PIE BAKERY _18h00

No próximo dia 18 de dezembro irá ser inaugurada a “Padaria de Tartes Romanas”, projeto que nasce pelas mãos do Waldar e que a Montícola acolhe no Espaço Vila Velha – a nossa sede, restaurante e mercearia, terá agora nova atividade.
A inauguração irá iniciar pelas 18h00 e irá consistir numa apresentação do projeto com a possibilidade de degustação das iguarias do Waldar. 

O Waldar mudou-se dos Países Baixos, onde trabalhou como padeiro num antigo moinho de água romano. Em Mértola, continua a sua arte e iniciou uma pequena Padaria Romana onde vai fazer antigas tortas, quiches e pizzas romanas com frutas e legumes locais e farinha de espelta biológica. Tal como os antigos romanos faziam em Mértola. Ele vai operar sob o nome de "Espelta Romana" como parte do Espaço Vilha Velha.

Estará disponível um menu de degustação para experimentar as quiches, tartes e pizzas romanas - com o valor é de 7,50€ por pessoa, incluindo saladas e 1 bebida (copo de vinho, cerveja ou infusão).

A entrada é gratuita, mas podem aproveitar para degustar com a aquisição do menu ou adquirir de forma livre o que entenderem!

CINECLUBE MÉRTOLA _21h00

No mesmo dia, o serão continua com o CineClube de Mértola, temos sessão pelas 21h00, com o filme Yupumá de Verónica Castro. 

Como habitual nesta altura do ano, a lareira irá iluminar e aquecer a noite e haverá tempo no final para uma conversa entre todos com o filme como mote. Pois sendo  a sinopse do filme: Kawá Huni teve uma visão. Da sua rede na floresta amazónica, viu arranha-céus ao amanhecer. Nessa altura, ninguém da sua tribo tinha saído das fronteiras do país. Embora tenha começado como um sonho, neste filme seguimos Kawá Huni Kuin, um aprendiz de curandeiro, enquanto ele se prepara para deixar a sua aldeia nas profundezas da floresta tropical brasileira para ir à Europa pela primeira vez como mensageiro do seu povo e do mundo. 

O título do filme, “Yupumá”, é um termo antigo pertencente ao povo Huni Kuin/ Kadinawá das terras baixas da Amazónia brasileira, e refere-se a fazer algo pela primeira vez - e às recompensas e consequências que daí advêm.

BIG OPENING ROMAN PIE BAKARY _18h00

On December 18th, the "Roman Pie Bakery" will be inaugurated, a project that was born by the hands of Waldar and will be hosts by Montícola at Espaço Vila Velha – our headquarters, restaurant and grocery store, will now have a new activity.
 
The inauguration will start at 6:00 pm and will consist of a presentation of the project with the possibility of tasting Waldar's delicious food. 

Waldar moved from the Netherlands where he worked as a baker in an old Roman watermill. In Mértola, he is continuing his art and has started a small Roman bakery where he will make old Roman tortas, quiches and pizzas with local fruits and vegetables and organic spelt flour. Just like the ancient Romans once did in Mertola. He will operate under the name "Espelta Romana" as part of espaco Vilha Velha.

A tasting menu will be available to try the quiches, pies and Roman pizzas - the cost is €7.50 per person, including salads and 1 drink (glass of wine, beer or infusion).

Entry is free, but you can enjoy a taste by purchasing the menu or purchasing whatever you want!

CINECLUBE MÉRTOLA _21h00

On the same day, the evening continues with the CineClube de Mértola, we have a session at 9:00 pm, with the film Yupumá by Verónica Castro. 

As usual at this time of year, the fireplace will light up and warm the night and there will be time at the end for a conversation between everyone with the film as a motto. Well, being the synopsis of the film: Kawá Huni had a vision. From his hammock in the Amazon rainforest, he saw skyscrapers at dawn. At that time, no one from his tribe had left the country's borders. Although it started as a dream, in this film we follow Kawá Huni Kuin, an apprentice healer, as he prepares to leave his village deep in the Brazilian rainforest to go to Europe for the first time as a messenger for his people and the world. 

The film's title, "Yupumá", is an old term belonging to the Huni Kuin/ Kadinawá people of the lowlands of the Brazilian Amazon, and refers to doing something for the first time – and the rewards and consequences that come with it.
